The system of Reiki came into Jessica's life in the Spring of 2006, and in June 2007 she graduated from Reiki Arts Continuum's Reiki Master Program to level III practitioner (or Reiki Master, as described in the West). Her studies in this program lasted over a year and involved 544 hours of coursework and outside application to deepen her own healing of self and ability to hold space for others' healing. 

Jessica deepened her journey into the system and energy of Reiki further in October 2007 by becoming initiated into the Reiki Master Teacher level, in the International House of Reiki's Shinpiden course with Frans and Bronwen Steine. With a focus on Master Usui's original intent for Reiki as a lifelong personal, spiritual practice, and on the Japanese teachings of Reiki before it was mixed with various Western New Age ideas and techniques, this course shifted her awareness and understanding of Reiki to its purified form. Based on Reiki teachings learned in this Shinpiden class and further workshops with the Steines, Jessica has realigned her personal Reiki practice to follow the original Japanese Reiki system's outline for spiritual development. 

Jessica is a registered member of the International Association of Reiki Practitioners, and of the Shibumi International Reiki Association.
